Hi,
I was returning home to LIH from HNL today and noticed an HA 717 parked at the cargo/general aviation ramp at LIH. I could not get the reg. number. The aircraft had its flaps down and appeared to have exhaust and intake coverings on the engines. Could you please give some info on why this 717 is there? I am just curious to see why it's there. Thanks

I'm not sure. We have cut back on our interisland schedule, and it may just be sitting there for an overnight. I haven't heard about any mechanicals, but I fly the 767, and don't hear all the details about minor problems interisland. Sorry I can't be more help.

One smooth landing is skill. Two in a row is luck. Three in a row and someone is lying.
