Southern Winds inagural service between Buenos Aires and Miami has taken off! It is on schedule to arrive in Miami bright in early at 0600. Congratulations Southern Winds on this major step foward! Southern Winds will operate four times a week between Cordoba and Miami by way of Buenos Aires, and will also start Madrid service later in September. Assuming a succsesful performance, Southern Winds plans to expand Miami service to daily, including a mix of non-stop flights from Buenos Aires and Cordoba.

Fares to Argentina are all pretty low right now. I don't have any exact fares, but Southern Winds looks to be on par with economy class fares, though they offer better Business fares. And a plus, though, they operate a three-class aircraft on the route, but it is Economy, an Economy Plus class (like BA Club World), and Business. The Economy Plus feature is a big plus, IMO, in today's market conditions. From what I understand, it offers business class seating, but economy service. They call it Surf Class.

AR,UA,AA are offering the same fare those days.
I know that business class fares are really competitive,around us$ 1500.
For a Madrid ticket the fare is around us$ 680.More or less the same as AA and IB.

I read a report in La Nacion that their president, Juan Maggio, said that they were going to keep the lowest fares of the market in EZE-MIA & MAD.
As Argento said, economy fares are 399 r/t to MIA and 680 r/t to MAD.
Surf class to MAD is u$d 1238rt
