Northwest Airlines Emergency Landing At SEA

NW001, bounded for Tokyo from LA, made an emergency landing today at Seattle due to a kid suffer critical medical problems.

The 747 landed Seattle safely, and it's arrival time at NRT will be 2.5 hours later then expected.

Was watching the evening news from Seattle, the report says the kid is in critical condition.

Two rules in aviation, don't hit anything and don't run out of gas, cause if you run out of gas yer gonna hit something.

Sounds like the kid had been sick and had open heart surgery. Something went wrong during the flight and his heart stopped. The crew declared an emergency and chose SEA. They came in like a bat out of hell but it was too late.
