Just heard a great rumour.

So I'm told, there was an announcement on local radio yesterday in the Midlands, that there are plans for a lo-cost carrier to move their operation from BHX to CVT.

Does anyone have any new about this, or is it just a vicious wind-up?

Cheers all,
LM

Might it be the proposed start-up "unnamed airline" sometimes known as Heart Air? They aren't going to be based at BHX anymore and are looking for another northern airport (Coventry = north? Suppose so if you are in London).

G'Day Derek,
Must have been but the guys that told me were very respectable, they had no reason to lie about it.

We'll see I guess, theres been alot of money allocated for new terminal buildings and new taxiways here at CVT.
