Airbus Seems To Have Win The Race For PIA.

Its still unclear although the decision was to be announced today but now Airbus seems to be higher on the list. Not much detail. Here is the link:

Neither choice would surprise me. I know there are still several ex-SIA A340s which haven't yet been placed, so that would certainly militate in favour of this type. And Boeing could yet be a winner, because if they get the CAL order, they could place the A340s with PIA as well? Wouldn't that be ironic.

I don't think that PIA will go totally Airbus or totally Boeing atleast not in the short term. And I doubt that ther is such long term planning under consideration.
