Long Beach has reached a settlement agreements regarding control of slots at the airport. Details are sketchy so far but it looks like they will stay at 41 total mainline flights. Media reports hint that some slot reallocation will happen which I take to mean that JetBlue will not reach a total of 27 flights at the airport but will end up below that.

Updated information about the slot settlement at LGB can be found in another article that came out 2 days later. It does appear that JetBlue will give back some slots and not run as many flights as expected. This article seems to indicate that AA will get to keep the 4 slots it was using that were to be given back to JB early next year.
