The engines are the new Williams 85-pound EJ22 turbofan; produces about 700 pounds of thrust, and is expected to sell for less than $100,000.00 each.

Sccutler,
I think you left off a Zero. It should be less than $1,000,000.
You can't even buy a new C-172 for less than $140,000.

Sccutler is probably correct and any in case did not forget the zero. The complete aircraft will sell for about $ 850,000 dollars. It is revolutionary.

Sorry it was unclear; I meant that the engines are expected to sell for less than $100,000.00 each (which is, in the world of jet engines, is dirt-cheap).
The Eclipse is supposed to come in at less than $1,000,000.00 per and, if they can do that, it will be huge. I am skeptical that they can achieve that pricing, but I'm pulling for them to do it!
