Last week I flew on 3 different 737-800s in one day. They were:

VH-VOH Virgin Blue (MEL - SYD)
VH-VOC Virgin Blue (SYD - MEL)
VH-VXJ Qantas (MEL-BNE)

This made me wonder how many of you have flown on three (or more!) aircraft (same model) on the same day?

FCO-ATH on Alitalia Airbus 321 (with an aborted take-off...)
ATH-JSI on Olympic Aviation ATR-42

well, actualy I did, I just remembered:

AMS-ZAG
ZAG-BEG
BEG-SKG

all on JAT Boeing 737-300 in one day.

I once flew 4 UA 737s (3 732's and a 733) in one day! Day trip from YYZ-MEM via ORD and back.

Panam, TWA, Ansett, Eastern.......AC next? Might be good for Canada.

So far, I had four 737s in one day - but 2 -300 and 2 -500. The second pair was supposed to be the same -300 as the first, but she went tech and we got a -500 as substitute.
Routing was FRA-NCE-FRA-RIX-FRA, all LH.

And like KLM-MD11, I had three airlines in one day: Augsburg Airways, Lufthansa, Sabena on DTM-FRA-BRU-BIO.

As a pilot, I have flown the -300, -500, -700, and -800 all in one day. That was interesting.

So VH-EBV how did DJ compare to QF?

These were my first flights with DJ, and I was pleasantly surprised. Both flights were on time; all the staff (check-in, flight attendants, crew) were very friendly. Obviously you have to pay for refreshments, but the blueberry muffin ($3) for breakfast was the best I have ever had! On the other hand, Qantas service has gone down hill (IMO) since the demise of Ansett, and I'd rather pay a little for something decent to eat, rather than get free rubbish.. As I didn't pay for any of the flights myself, I can't compare on price...

Four times....MLB ATL on the MD88, then caught up with my dad, a Delta MD-88 F/O, and flew on his legs from ATL to PBI, then back to ATL, then he had a leg to MLB, where we live! Mad Dog First Class the whole way...free too!

Long live the MD-88.
