Well, lots of nice stuff, and I saw it all on my lunch break and a few minutes after work:
1 World Airways DC10
1 UPS MD11
1 UPS A310
7 Tradewinds A300
1 Tradewinds L1011
2 ICC A300
1 Varig 757
1 United 757
1 more 757 that was unmarked
1 more 757 that had a pink tail and worked it's way to the cargo terminal.
4 FedEx A310s
I guess since we lost another 10 passenger flights per day, we have to make it up with other cool planes, eh?

Awesome Spotting Day At GSO Today
Didn't know that could happen anymore...
And what do we get at RDU? One lousy 777 and a million ERJs
Lemmesee....The UPS MD-11 wouldn't be there for cargo....or the Varig or United planes for pax....so, TIMCO I guess.
Hey, at least you have mainline UA service in the first place. All we have are some stinking CRJs and J41s. But I know overall I shouldn't be complaining.
Hopefully GSO will rebound with FedEx's hub.

Well, we are lucky with United mainline. They are supposed to be adding another mainline flight per day. They upgraded our other dailies to A319 and A320 flights.
Well, another Air Gabon is here at Timco, it's a DC-9 it looks like on top of that other Air Gabon plane.
The Varig is also at Timco, along with two Tradewinds A300s and that United 757.
The UPS flight appeared to be for Cargo, UPS seems to have moved it's cargo flights up a notch here. And FedEx has as well.
They are building something new out beside Timco (north of Timco) I can't figure out what it is, but they've been working on it for 2 years now.
Those ICC A300s I think were bought by Tradewinds and are sitting near Market St.
The World Airways was a charter flight for the Florida International football team playing Elon tomorrow.
I still can't figure out what those other cargo flights were.
And, as for service we lost. We lost 1 flight to Boston, 3 to Charlotte, 1 to Pittsburgh, 1 to Philly and 1 to Roanoke all on US Air. Northwest did you add another mainle DC-9 per day. We also lost 1 Continental flight to Newark and Houston as well. Taking the total CO flights down to 5 per day (hard to believe this was a hub once). 1 year ago we had 120 flights per day, now we are down to 73.

UPS must be stepping up ops if they're bringing in MD-11s and A310s in the same time period.
Counteracting FedEx, I would presume. I dunno. Seems like everytime I track a package from UPS it comes through GSO instead of RDU.
I believe AA also pulled all mainline flights too...leaving ERJs?
And I'm sorry to say, but I didn't even know Elon had a football team.

I wonder what Tradewinds is bringing up from PR ? Flowers ? Have they scrapped any of those L's over at Tradewinds ? I heard a plane asking the tower what was going on with them , and they said they're gonna be scrapped. I remember seeing TWA's only new colors 'L' stored at LAS in '94.

Tradewinds has a contract with UPS to do most, if not all, of its Cargo to the Carribean. I know they have dailies from the NE (Hartford), SE (Greensboro), Midwest (Dayton), SW (Dallas), FL (Miami) and a few others. They also had a contract to do some of the old Emory Worldwide business. I know they do more than carry to San Juan and Aguadilla from GSO as we've had cargo flights leave from here to Dayton, Dallas and Portsmouth, NH alot lately.
