Just wondering if anybody out there knows how much of TWA's fleet has been repainted in the new scheme. I know there were some comments about the slowness of the repainting (perhaps due to financial constraints).
Also what sort of fleet have the now got, do the B727's still fly with them???

I've seen about 80% of TWA's fleet when I flew with them and walked around a few hours in St Louis in August 1999.
About 15 of 40 DC-9-30s were repainted, about 50 of the 80 MD-80s I've seen, I saw 3 727s in new colours, all 757s... Of the 767s, I saw 1 763 and 3 762s in the old colours.
They still have about 12 727s flying, to be retired this year.
nobody has ever died from hard work, but why take the risk?

Its not that they are slow, its because they are not repainting the aircraft that will be retired shortly....Yes not all of their aircraft are painted yet, but most of them are.And TWA does not have the available aicraft right now to bring them out of service to be repainted due to their vastly growing network in relation to the amount of aircraft they have.
hope this helps.
