On different longhaul flights, different amounts of movies are shown. I don't really know how many are shown though. I have flown 6 transatlantic flights (3 roundtrips) and it is usually one flight going eastbound and two or three going westbound. How many movies are typically shown on different longhaul flights, for instance Europe to SE Asia eastbound/westbound, SE Asia to Australia both directions, North America to South America northbound/southbound, Europe to South America southbound/northbound, Australia to North America northbound/ southbound, etc. Which carriers that have PTVs have video on demand in economy and how many movies can you watch on those? Thank you!

On my flight from ORD-HKG, United showed 4 movies each way. No PTV'S however.
Its better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air than be in the air wishing you were on the ground. Fly safe!
