B737-476s VH-TJT and U were delivered from an Australian Airlines order but never served with Australian. VH-TJX, Y and Z were all ordered by Qantas in 1995. B737-4Q8 VH-TJV came straight to Qantas from Solomon Airlines and is leased from ILFC, as is B737-3Q8 VH-TAB. B737-4L7 VH-TJW was purchased from Air Nauru.

So AJ are VH - TJX , Y & Z only 7 years old then? When did they stop manufacture of the 734?
QF seems to have a policy of keeping aircraft until they are fully depreciated which I think is 20 years. This is the case with the 742's, 743's and 762's. All these aircraft will have served 20 plus years before they are retired. This policy is also applying then to the 733's and 734's by the looks of it.
Does anybody know the average age of the fleets of the major airlines? How does QF compare?
