This morning, I read in the Wichita Eagle that a Wichitan entreprenuer Kay Cohlmia, is going to start a new Wichita, Kansas-Based airline called Braniff Airways. (http://www.braniffairways.com) Sounds familiar? They will have a fleet of used 737 and flights to Chicago, Denver, and Las Vegas. It will be a "low-fare" airline. Wichita has been complaining about high fares ever since Vanguard stopped serving Wichita. Because the airline needs about $10 million more dollars to start, Braniff Airways should start at June.
