Qatar Airways will upgrade flights to Paris from 2x weekly service that was started in November 2000 to Daily service. The route was doing very well this year and in fact some flights were sold out nearly 9 months in advance. The problem though was that 2x weekly frequencies weren't good at attracting high-yeild passengers and in pursuit of yeilds and extra the capacity the route will be upgraded to daily flights.
A Qatari team has already left for Paris to re-negotiate the Air Service Agreement between Qatar and France which currently doesn't allow daily flights. Previously Air France expressed interest in operating CDG-DOH, does anyone have any updates on this?

A330-200 or A300-600 probably.
QR is growing at an amazing speed, 2x weekly to daily is a big jump in terms of capacity, but it's no suprise with QR as their route network is increasing rapidly like EK's.
