Hey people have you seen Air Asia's new logo jet? It wears the Time.com color scheme (pretty looking). View it at:
Look out for the heading "AirAsia confident of 50% online booking rise". The 737-300 logo jet kinda look like the new Sun Country and Southwest airlines color scheme. I guess this will be the first logo jet in Malaysia.

I believe their new aircraft leased from SALE, 9M-AAD?! is in the new paint scheme, right? I saw Air Asia in PEN before but couldnt see the reg. But two weeks ago, one got delivered from SIN, I think. They should have 5 B733 by now?? what are the regos? Should it be -AAA to -AAE?? All of them have new schemes except -AAA and -AAB, right?

Go to www.thestar.com.my. From here click on the 'Last 7 Days' issues and from there proceed to the Sept 17 issues. Proceed on to the Business issues. Scroll down until you find the article with the heading "AirAsia confident of 50% online booking rise". The 737 can be seen in the backdrop. By the way god knows how Air Asia will do in the future especially when they have MH up their neck.
I think all 5 or 6 737-300 now wears the new red and white color scheme. If you check the aircraft picture database you will find that even 9M-AAA has been repainted. The aircraft I was reffering to as the new logo jet wears a Blue and Red scheme all over its body and carries the seal of time.com. It bares a passing resemblance of the new Southwest and Sun Country scheme.
By the way guys I once remembered that Tony Fernandez said that Air Asia might acquire the 737NG in the near future and built it up to a fleet of around 15 to 20. That would be nice.
