Marcel van den Berg's 1st www spotter site said that Ariana was expected to start its Kabul-IST-FRA service yesterday (Sep 18) - any confirmed reports?

Good Morning!

Very good news for my favorite airport! Has FG only one weekly flight to FRA? Do they also serve other European cities except FRA and IST?

I wonder what the local spotter club is good for then if they don't have info like this beforehand. (Or maybe - see the discussion around N707JT - those who knew kept the info to themselves to get the exclusive photo...)

Hi,

I found it very strange indeed there is no mentioning of the flight on the www.rmas.de website.

Anyway, according to a pressrelease on www.airliners.de Ariana is going to fly twice a week to Frankfurt, on Wednesdays and on Thursdays. So maybe today another chance to see the aircraft. Looking forward to the photos.

regards,
Marcel

OK here we go, finally some info from www.rmas.de.
Official start is next week, so maybe it was only a route proving flight, I'm sure the local papers would have reported it otherwise:
