I've got family in Brazil. They wanna come to see me in June, and the easiest way to fly SSA-BCN is Viação Aérea São Paulo (VP-VASP) But despite tehy eherw allowed to keep reservations since last december, now they are being hardly warned to reserve VARIG via GIG or GRU, or TAP via LIS, since VASP is selling tickets ONLY UNTILL 30th MARCH beacuse is discontinuing operations. Is it true? Has it anything to do with VARIG-VASP flirts? Are flights SSA-MAD or SSA-BCN being discontinued?

So far I only found this information. I'm pretty sure that there will be more information about the suspension of most of VASP european routes in the following days. But in the mean time, check this out.
