Azerbaijan Airlines has signed LOI for at least 4 B737NG orders, after it has asked Boeing and Airbus for a proposal to supplement to the airline's current B727/757 and Russian jet operation.
The airline is slowly phasing out it's soviet-era jet.
Despite the airline signed LOI for B737NG, it is still looking at A321, if Airbus offers "better price".
The national flag carrier is also looking for turboprop such as ATR or Dash8 for domestic operations where airports can not handle jet operations.
