Yes, yesterday Delsey airlines had a plane full with pax. No empty seats available anymore. Well protected in the air by 6 Dutch F16. Hmmmmm Oh yes it was charter by the Dutch Airforce to bring the F16 squadron to the boarder of Afghanistan. It was the Delsey Logo plane. Finally a flight in over 8 days.

I think they were not in trouble...since the aircraft was chartered by the RNlAF and they were flying to Afghanistan, theaircraft just had to get some protection just in case something would happen.

Must have been a pleasant day at the Delsey office. I can already see the banners hanging over there: 'Our 1st full flight'...(Well, since it was chartered, a full flight is no big deal,...)

@luzezito,

No I do a lot of work for Delsey so I am not happy if Delsey would get into troubles.

But we made a joke at the company, Finnaly a full flight.

Now I see your point. No offence meant, really. Is it really going so bad? Why is it going bad? I would guess that out of BRU there has to be a market for some destinations formerly covered by SN?

@Pressclub, whatever you say, that is one of my other functions.

Air Holland has asked KLM for taking over the flights to Paramaribo. I thought that this would never work out because Paramaribo is a very profitable destination for KLM ( I Thought ) But 2/3 of the flight capacity has been sold by SLM Airlines. KLM Is thinking about giving Air Holland some of there flights, But they have to make clear that they will keep on flying.

That last part is the problem, they need the money and Tony is not going to give anymore money to Air Holland. Ludo Sauwens ( ex Air Holland ) is not working anymore for Delsey Airlines.

Delsey Airlines seems to be the perfect airline for troop transports as Delsey flew several more flights for the Dutch military earlier this year.

Delsey Airlines is also the major airline for the Belgian Post services to the USA.

Any intelligence on how the BerlinJet feeders for Delsey work ? BerlinJet started the flights this monday but most flights from FRA were cancelled ? Has Delsey had any feed from FRA so far ? BerlinJet/Delsey are offering really cheap deals from FRA via BRU to the US, but obviously people are reluctant to book....
