I got my tickets through this morning for SK 983 to NRT (im very excited!!) , are all the SAS A340s equipped with PTV's?, and how does the comfort flying coach in a A343 compare to a 744?. I've flown with BA744,AC,AF,UA lets just say I wasn't impressed with AC.

Yes all seats in SAS A340's are equipped with PTV's. No worry about that. You'll also have two cameras (one looking down and one looking forward) during the whole trip. The best thing when the aircraft approach the runway before landing.
I had the pleasure to fly on one of the A340's last February. I aslo wrote a trip report about it. http://www.airliners.net/discussions/trip_reports/read.main/17783/6/
There're also other trip reports about SAS new long-haul aircraft. Just do a search.

Was flying BKK-CPH in coatch an returning in Economy+, both the flights were very comfortable. Great food from CPH to BKK. Good seatcomfort and the fun of looking the landing on your own PTV. I had a cozy flight. And no limits of drinks. But okay some times it is easyer to go to the galley, and ask for somethink to drink and a sandwich if you fell hungry.
The crew I found very good and disiplined and motivated. The choice in food was limited but the quality high (not very spicy).
Seat Pitch & Sleeping comfort was not as much as other airlines.
Movies are not on demand like JAL. The screen was hard to get out of the seat. My feed touched the seat in front of me when in full recline.
