Toronto is not a hotspot for vintage jets, but today in the afternoon, it was
nice and sunny. All of a sudden, a jet comes into view and I see it's something
different. I think it's Russian and then...I see it's a lovely grey RAF VC-10!!!
I have only seen one before, last Spring. Wow, those Conway engines sound
exotic!

Well, I was doing some work in the garage and hear another jet. I don't go
out and look right away but when I do, I make it out to be a DC-8! I haven't
confirmedly seen one of those since the Summer of 1999!!! I couldn't make
out enough features but it seemed to have a dark (blue?) cheatline, a red
symbol on tail, and to have the nacelles of a -61 (or less likely a -50, I don't
think it was so short though.) And then, 2 minutes later, ANOTHER VC-10
flies by, nice and low!

Okay, does anyone know the registrations of these aircraft and what airline the
DC-8 was? Something from Africa maybe? I've never had a day like this here
before!
