A story to share.

In my capacity as a vet one day, several years ago, a lady and her children brought there cat into the consulting room. They opened thier cat basket and out came a large, gnarled ginger tom. The 17 year old fella was slow, arthritic but still with spirit and purring.
His name was Trubshaw.
I asked the lady where this came from. She replied that the british concorde test pilot was called Trubshaw. I still didn't quite see the connection and she said "when trubshaw was a kitten he was v.fast". As we both looked at him smiling, she laughed and said "look at the old man now."
I was chatting to a friend after reading the memory of Martine Tlouzeau on concordesst.com, and just thought I'd post this little tail.
