The Aviodome Lockheed Constellation, which arrived very recently at Lelystad (NL) will be repainted into a KLM colourscheme. What KLM colourscheme will this Connie receive? The original KLM-Connie scheme or the current KLM blue-roof livery? I think it would be nice to see that Constellation in the current KLM-scheme as I liked to see the old AA-scheme on a Boeing 757. The contrast between old and new would be striking. A Connie in the orginal KLM-Connie livery would be to predictable in my opinion though very nice too. Is there already news about the repaint of this Constellation??

Thank you for the information. I think it is a very exciting job for the paintshop people to paint an historic paintscheme. I'm looking forward to meet this fresh painted Connie soon. To me the Constellation is, next to the Caravelle, Concorde, Tu-114, VC10, DC3, DC8, Boeing 707 and the Boeing 757, one of the nicest aircraft ever built.
