We all know the top airlines in the world, i think BA, SQ, EK, CX, VS can be included in the list...

What airlines will be paving the way and setting the standards in 5, 10 or even 20 years down the line? Will it still be these airlines? Or will there be some new players- who get their acts together.

I heard TG wants to be amongst the top, or at least play a larger role at the top. Its quite possible i think and it would be nice.
And qatar are a good up and coming airline.

Why are so many of the worlds top airlines in asia? there are a few good airlines in europe and a few in america, but most of the major airlines in asia play a much larger role at setting the standards than in the west.
The higher standards of service provided by FA's is an obvious point.
Are the asian (south east mainly) airlines leaving the rest of the world behind?

What do you think?...

What is with LH, QR, UA, AA, QF, AF. The Region Asia is much bigger than Europe or America, so in Asia you have more people for filling your planes, or is this incorrect?
