hello every one, I know this may have been posted before, but forgive me......
I am doing a career project in School and am doing in on being an Airline Pilot. One of the things I have to do, is get a list of vocabulary words, or "terms" used in this profession. Could you please provide me with some words used in your profession? such as "heavy" what does that mean? Also, could you please give me the internet sites for some schools, such as Purdue, and embry riddle.

I have a similar project for English. I attend Purdue University http://www.purdue.edu in their Aviation Administration program. If you have any questions, you can email me and I'll be sure to answer them. I have a backlog of emails, but I will be sure to get back to you ASAP.
Some key terms:
- Bounce: Land, then immediately take-off again
- Firewall (verb): To push the engines to their max limit
- Missed: Missed Approach
