Hi,

i read at the amadeus.net site that SW will operate an A332 on the following dates from FRA- LHR (SW 285): 12. October 2002 and
19. October 2002.

Somebody here who knows from which airline the Airbus comes or did SW received one?

Nils

Yes, but amadeus.net also shows a Lufthansa 314??? (A310-400??) on the London Frankfurt route as well. So much for reliability.

A330DAT, you don't know much about Airliners codes, do you??!

314 is a IATA code for A310-300 with intra European configuration.

As a matter of fact, LH was operating only 314s until recently, now however, the airline has AFAIK a single 313 for medium routes.

Here is a question, what are the meanings of ABA, AB6??

Anyway, just to make my point, Amadeus is the most reliable site in my opinion over the web. It has the most info for most airlines than any other site.

Flights with the A332 are already listed from Oct 8th onwards. Could this be the awaited B74E replacement?

So that much for the 763 replacing the 74E. At least I had the chance to fly with their 74E once. I will never forget that flight  Big thumbs up

LH has one 313 in operation (to Almaty I think) and five or six 314s for hi density routes out of FRA.

Could SW be leasing one of the Delsey aircraft until their replacement for the 744 is ready?

It was just on the news that Delsey Airlines is in very serious financial problems.

So what you say, SAS23, is possible, IV can always lease the Delsey jet to SW.

And, if things go further like this, and Delsey goes bust, the aircraft will be fully available for SW.

Frederic

Just read that the A332 only operates for SW between Oct 8th to Oct 19th, afterwards the B74E ist back which will be in maintenance in AMS.

ABA at LH was the A300-600 on longhauls. (AB6 for shorthauls)
