SV are operating a weekly scheduled service to Tehran with the 747-100 from Jeddah, contrary to their flight schedule at the new website which excludes the destination.

Yeah im sure there must be quite a bit of traffic between Iran and Saudia......i rememer seeing a Mahan Air A300 at JED couple of years ago too

I think SV had temporarily suspended flying to Iran, they werent listed at OAG either.

Last year they were operating only one or two weekly flights to the Persian capital.Aircraft type used was A300 or MD90.
Two weekly flights is really poor comparing to the proximity and the relations,mainly religious,that exist between the two countries.
I believe that Iran is a good destination,at least for all the Arab airlines.
