Hello!

Yesterday evening I saw a Boeing 727-200 Adv. in front of the Daimler-Chrysler Aviation hangar. It had no titles, just an Amerijet looking paint scheme. Couldn't read the registration as it was too dark. No painted windows also. Do you have any infos on this aircraft???

Thanks very much!

Unfortunately I didn't work today, I have only seen it on the webcam. No idea about this aircraft. But it can't be a freighter, those have moved to "Cargo City Süd". When I asked the colleagues at the airport today, nobody knew about it.

But I'm sure CrewChief32 will tell us  Big thumbs up

It was a Miami Air aircraft (N521DB) that was chartered by DaimlerChrysler after a problem with their ACJ had occured (I seem to remember that it developed a snag in the hydraulic system shortly after take-off from STR and returned to STR, making a safety landing there).

errr, "it" is the ACJ which returned to STR, resulting in the B727-200 jumping in at short notice.

Thanks, Vfw614 - and you're faster than CC32 Big grin

Btw, of course I meant to write that I didn't work yesterday.
Indeed, D-ADNA had hydraulic problems after take-off from STR on sunday, returned to STR. Today at 10 o'clock it made a testflight STR-STR, everything is fine now as I was told.

Thanks very much!

Was this aircraft with Delta before?? Also when flying to Auburn Hills does it have to make a refuelling stop then.

last question: Hushkitted or not, as I know it is not, no NORDAM kit was visible, nor the Super 27 re-engining kit was!

Mille gracie again!
