So the FAA has recently released the stats of the nations busiest towers. It states that Grand Forks International Airport is the 44th busiest airport in the country in terms of operations. This is mainly because of UND students taking the skies. UND uses 92% of the operations, while the rest is used by Northwest, Fedex, and a local FBO. This is pretty good for a town of just over 51,000. I just thought this was pretty cool.

According to ACI.....DAB - (Daytona Beach FL) is actually # 20 in terms of operations IN THE WORLD year to date ( Jan-March is whats posted) 2002. This is thanks in part to ERAU's ops here at DAB, plus the Daytona 500 was included in that data which doesnt hurt much seeing on that day the airport is #1 in the world.
Experience is what you get when what you thought would work out didn't!

Here's more statistics...
PRC - Prescott, AZ is the 2nd busiest airport in Arizona. The 30th busiest (or thereabouts) in the nation. It is also the busiest non radar field in the country. This is all because of the volume of traffic Embry-Riddle has at this airport.

In terms of takeoffs and landings, my home airport Phoenix Deer Valley Muni (KDVT) was one day ranked 10th in the nation. Pretty darn good for a small regional airport with 90% Cessna 172s and Piper Archers. The ranking was most definalty due to 2 major training school located here. And I took part in that number of takeoffs and landings because I actually flew that day at DVT
