Hello people

Do you know what exact plane type have the new C class?

What aircraft is used on the HKG-SFO and HKG-LAX? I assume for SFO is a mix of B744 and A340 IIRC while LAX is B744.

Which of their B744 and A340 has the new C? and which A330?

I might be flying them to US with my dad. But I am choosing among them, SQ and MH (to LAX).

Regards
Airbus Lover

As mentioned before CX has 3 config types for its 744s .

744 Aircraft with new first and new business

74B Aircraft with original first and original business

74J Aircraft with original first and a large 92 seat original business

Currently LAX and SFO are using 74B but sometimes these routes can be operated by 744.

LAX is probably one of the new services for the A340-600 which arrive late November.

The trip I am planning to do will be in January. So i assume the A346 will for sure have the new F and C?

Babaero, in actual fact, all of CX's 747 are now equipped with the new first class. The original first class can only be found on some of the A340s only.

I have been CX880 to LAX this month. The config is 74B or 74J (I am not sure)
But once I am in the plane, I discovered that the J class was new one. I sat at 88K, which is 74B/74J config. In 74Y config, don't have 88K in upper deck.

I think you better ask the reservation to check the plane has new J class or not.

Don't trust that site very much, this is my true experience. I am in 88K and this is a new business class.

When I back, I am in 88A, but it is a old cabin.

I just had the new Business class on my flight from HGK to SYD. The seat is not nice and not comfortable at all. there is an open space between your back and the seat. It gives you a terrible pain in the back. A lot of people were also complaining about it. All the rest was very good but not the seat.

Skippy777: what do you mean when you say there is an "open space between your back and the seat"? The way I read it was that you are trying to say that the back cannot rest against the seat... but that doesn't make any sense...

Skippy777: try to build some muscles on your back! May be you are just too skinny or not muscular enough.
