I was browsing threw Transport Canada's registry when I discovered that AC had either bought or leased a new A320, former C-GVXC of Canada 3000. I was thinking; that's weird since they've ordered last year 3 A320s, only 1 of whom has been delivered so far. Is it part of any form of expansion for the Tango service, instead of using AC mainline a/c, they're buying some slightly used ones? Or maybe it's just a short-term lease?
Note: This particular a/c has been with Skyservice since last December but was returned a few weeks ago like former sisterships C-GVXF and ...XD. Are they planning on adding them as well?
I'm very curious about that AC move, not in their habits to buy used a/c especially since they are no real extra-capacity needs at this moment.

From what I have heard at work about this particular a/c is that we wanted a "bulk" loaded A320 instead of containerized planes.
The reason for this is we have some winter charters flying to Cuba and the Dominican Republic. Some of the airports that we will be flying into don't have the loaders that are needed to offload/load and A320 in a containerized configuration, so we are leasing at least one bulk loaded A320 for this purpose.
This is what I have heard, but if anyone has any other story or info, please share it.
