We flew over Standiford this eveing and there sat an all white B747 on Taxiway November close to Lima. It looked as if it had nothing to do with UPS' operation. In addition there was a Gemini MD11 (I believe) on the Air Cargo ramp, same as her Boeing counterpart, it looked not to be carrying any brown boxes.
Does anybody have an idea?

The Ghost 747 appears again this time in Louisville
Most likely it is a Kalitta 747, there are a couple of all white Kalitta 747 classics flying around. I saw three parked at his maintenance base up at the old Wurtsmith AFB in Oscoda Mich. Two of them had no titles whatsoever.

There were a pair of Kallita 747's at Kennedy last night, one in the usual Kallita livery, and the other was a "Casper" 200 Freighter. Casper was 706CK (Could've been 705, wasn't looking that close) and the liveried one was down at Delta Cargo Building 67.Didn't bother to go see the numbers on that one.
Casper pushed at around 01:15, and the other was still there as of 02:30.
Yes, I actually *do* work for an airline, how about you?

N705CK is a new aquisition from JAL and operates painted all-white, N706CK is retired to my knowledge.
Kalitta operates 5 Jumbos (according Bill Harms list), 4 of them in the red-gold livery, at least one without titles though, N705CK is the only one without paintscheme (and I guess it will be painted sooner or later).

Here is the scoop (btw, the aircraft was still standing @ the same taxiway intersection). I asked the controller and she mentioned that the aircraft belongs to a Saudi Sheik. When we came back from Memphis today, I witnessed five trucks with horse trailers around the aircraft and people were in the process of loading the aircraft. Sorry no reg, though. It was all white and had a loading door in the back (open when we flew over). That is a ll I know, but it seemed as if it was starting to head out of SDF maybe tonight with the indication that a bunch of horses were loaded on the B747F.
Maybe
On another note, I witnessed a NW B753 land on 17R @ MEM today, beautiful aircraft. And this private B757 was sitting on the ramp @ Wilson Air Center..

I saw the airplane at SDF yesterday evening when arriving on NW 1865. It did have an A6 registration and they appeared to be loading horses on the airplane in special containers. There were also several large semi rigs with horse transportation trailers parked along side the 747. In addition ,there was a DC-10-30F (probably Gemini) parked nearby with no activity and an Evergreen 747 that departed about the time we were being parked at the gate.
