I know there was a debate raging in another topic (can't remember the name, sorry) recently about the legroom on CX's new Business Class.... this is actually quite a good picture in that if you take a look, there is quite a lot of legroom from the green aisle seat to where the blue seat's cocoon meets the cabin floor.... and it shows quite clearly how the design of the seat (the slope of the blue seat's cocoon) makes the legroom appear deceptive in the pics available on CX's website.

Regarding the colours, I think they are all green, and it is just the effect of the flash that makes the one in the forground look different to the ones behind. It is also interesting to note that there isn't a jumpseat in front of the emergency exit - have these been moved to allow for more space, or are they on the other side? (The last 747 I was on, of Thai Aiways, I recall them being in front of both the left and right exit on the upper deck, but I could always be mistaken)

Okay, do I feel stupid... The Coachman: you're right... but then if the seat is in full recline the emergency exit will be obstructed! How does that work?
The new J class seats are upholstered in two colours: a muted blue and green respectively (as in the above pic).

V/F: from the pic above it looks to me like the edge of the green street is pretty much flush with the side crack of the emergency exit... so if the seat were extended to its flat length then wouldn't the seat end up partially obstructing the exit?

Oh right, I see what you mean - the legrest of the seat behind does look like it would cover the door when in the extended position. Can anyone who has seen this up close and personal give us some info on how it is set up?

B-HXB, VF, the seats have to be inclined to the upright position, with the foot rests stowed away, as in take-off and landing positions if there was to be an emergency landing, hence they won't be obstructing the emergency exit in that case.
On a side note, I think CX's Business class looks great and very comfortable
