2 Extra Christmas flights to Africa:
SN Brussels Airlines will operate two extra flights to both Kigali, Rwanda and Nairobi, Kenya during Christmas and the New Year.
Departing on Sunday, 22 December 2002 and Thursday, 9 January 2003, the flights have been scheduled in response to a highly increased customer demand around this period.

A one way is more expensive in the IATA publicated fares. This is technical a bit long to explain actually.
As I worked as Business Travel consultant, I often used the tactics like cross-tickets and fictive return tickets to get better fares. But this only applies to Corporate travel. And this can explain some no-shows on European flights.
