2 Extra Christmas flights to Africa:

SN Brussels Airlines will operate two extra flights to both Kigali, Rwanda and Nairobi, Kenya during Christmas and the New Year.

Departing on Sunday, 22 December 2002 and Thursday, 9 January 2003, the flights have been scheduled in response to a highly increased customer demand around this period.

Thanks a lot, Slz396!

BTW: I have a question about their booking rules.

A one-way ticket LHR-BRU costs more than €500. I contacted them to ask if this was a mistake, but it was not!

If I take a return trip, price is €190. Isn't this a bit stupid? Why not make a one-way trip cheaper?

Price on BD goes from €37 to €75. Although I want to fly SNBA, I am not going to pay more than the double! €75 on BD and €190 on SN...

A bit stupid, not?

Regards,
Frederic

That is the normal policy at most airlines offering IATA fares.

Yes, I am an IATA graduated, and I can tell you that this the truth !!!

A one way is more expensive in the IATA publicated fares. This is technical a bit long to explain actually.

As I worked as Business Travel consultant, I often used the tactics like cross-tickets and fictive return tickets to get better fares. But this only applies to Corporate travel. And this can explain some no-shows on European flights.

Thanks guys!

I know that lot's of airlines do this (look at BA,...), but I personally find it a bit stupid. That's asking for pax who do not show up...
