I am flying into MSP tonight and I will report what I can see. As far as I know there were no 727's with the new paint scheme. Their website did not have any info either.

They have been running a lot of charter flight to LasVegas recently including flights from Brainerd, MN and Grand Forks, ND.

Neither of these 727's were the new colors.

Before the Sun Country went bankrupt last December, the plan was to retire the 727's as the 737's came on. As such, no 727's were painted in the new scheme.

Bill Harms web site indicates there is only one Sun Country 727 left and it was scheduled to be retired in November.

Bill Harms website is correct. One Sun Country 727 left, still in the old colors because it's being returned this month.

another Sun Country question...when they are running a casino special into a small city, say Euegene, what time do they fly in on Friday (to pick-up) and Monday (to drop off)?

A Sun Country 727 has been sitting in RFD for a few months now. The windows have plastic garbage bags over them. Once a month someone comes to fire up the APU and stuff.
