When choosing an airline a lot of things play a role such as memory’s on your last flight
I. How long ago was your most recent flight ?
II. How do you rate last your flight with this airline ?
- great !
- good.
- hmmm …
- disappointing ..
III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative ?
IV. Would the things you just remembered make you select or avoid this airline next time ? (that is if you have a choice …
- Yes, I would even spend some (well, max. $20) extra to get them again / avoid them !
- Not sure, other things are more important
- I probably won’t remember it at the moment I have to choose ..
- No, because …

I would definitely take JetBlue on my next trip if possible. I'd consider paying up to 10% more than for another carrier, thanks to the leather seats and DirecTV.

1 -- Most recent flight was last weekend; Oct. 26 UA 1577 SFO-SNA; Oct. 27 UA 1578 SNA-SFO. A319s on both legs.
2 -- Great as usual.
3 -- Ontime, friendly professional crew, and the best thing was I departed and arrived from the UA gates that are only yards from the curb at SFO. And fantastic views of the California coast on the flight home.
4 -- I generally fly UA or AA domestically, nothing happened on this trip that would make me want to shop around.

2. Great
3. Positive: freshly-delivered aircraft, great business class seats, lovely stewardesses, Audio and Video on Demand (AVOD) on a 10.4" PTV, Silver Kris Lounge in SIN. Negative: So-so food, cold service on SIN-AMS leg, minor delays. Interesting fact: the aircraft on this flight, 9V-SVI (a B772ER) had a damaged engine while taking off in CPH a few weeks before.
4. Yes, but probably be flying on the back of the bus this time. I used my mileage to upgrade on this particular leg.

As an enthusiast for aviation, the experience of my flight on a 50 seater airplane was great! . (Probably because I was an enthusiast that has never been on a regional jet before and interior was very spacious for a 5ft-5in guy like me--see below for more.)
---- III. Thinking back, what details you remember on this flight that stood out most positively or negative? Positive: Oh my goodness, this one changed my experience towards riding on airplanes:
This stewardess was so funny and was enthusiastic towards her passengers: She first introduced herself, gave us briefing about the details of our flight, then showed us proper in-flight briefing and emergency procedures. Then, before the jet pushes back, she kinda "refreshes" us for the trip by saying:
"Is everybody ready to go to Colorado Springs?"
Yes.
"I can't hear you, is EVERYBODY ready to go to Colorado Springs??"
Yessssssssss!!! (enthusiastic passengers cheering)
She also joked about how we're going to have roast turkey as in-flight lunch on this one hour flight, then telling us that we're only having peanuts and soft-drinks .
On our return flight however (6 AM), although another ethnic steward on-board did his normal procedures in a humble manner, I think the cabin of the regional jet deserved to be a little quiet for that flight because it was an early morning winter flight and everyone wanted some shuteye.

Umn...I would say, between Yes I would and Not sure, other things are more important.
In other words, the answer combined is : Yes I would -- considering if I had the time.
P.S.: I rode on America West Express, Canadair Regional Jet CRJ-200, roundtrip, HP6410 and HP 64??, 1h45min duration, and as for the encounter with the "enthusiastic" stewardess, I think this only happens once in your (flights) lifetime. All other air-hostesses are probably just doing everything as they're told to (which is fine with me too).

NEGATIVE.....
Was delayed 2 hours at JFK.
The lack of leg room.
My PTV not working very well.
The 15 hour flight time to NRT from JFK with no leg room and a bad working ptv.
POSITIVE.....
Was flying.
The great good and great service.
F/A always smiling..even on hour 13...
I would be traveling half way arpoound the world in less then a day.
And of course..the negative did not matter to me because i was going to see my girlfriend.
one moe negative was leaving Japan.

No, because …I want to try ANA next time i go to Japan... or maybe i will non -rev it... but i want to try ANA and fly a diiferent aircraft then the 747-400.

1. October 31, 2002 CDG-AMS KLMC
2. Disappointing;
3. Although the delay of 1 hour was known on forehand, had to report 45 minutes before departure (no info given at check-in nor on the info panel; furthermore crampy seat (Fokker70); transfer passengers were told that if they would run (from A-gate to F-gate) the captain would probably allow them on the connecting flight (how about the luggage?)
4. Yes; I'm flying often KLM and always avoid flights operated by KLM Cityhopper (because of the aircraft and the fact that only 1 piece of luggage is allowed in the cabin); this flight was the only one with an available seat.

Negative, urly departure time out of NRT (11.35 AM), but so do all other airlines flying direct between Japan and Europe (AF excepted).

altough we had delays during boarding and take-off(LHR-AMS flt), the crew responded very quickly, so our waiting time would not be too long, thanks to that we departed and arrived on time!!, what I really liked: we even had flight tracking on the LHR-AMS flight!!, never expected something like that on such a short flight...and the crew was very very friendly.....the food was good....only on the AMS-LGW flight they served a sandwich with ham in it, I don't eat pork and cow and my meal wishes are noticed in my frequent flyer account, that was the only very small negative detail of my daytrip....for more information: I will post a trip report tomorrow...
