I understand that at least 5 of the old Continental 727's (which were recently retired) are currently at Tucson, at least 2 of which are undergoing some sort of conversion (I imagine to cargo).
They are:
N73751, N76752, N76753, N79754, N70755
Does anyone have any knowledge of potential users of those aircraft, or of their ultimate fate?

These planes are probably at Hamilton Aviation. There were several CO 727s there the last time I checked. I saw them doing a door installation outside on a ex-EA 727 for Mexicargo. You might try their website for more info.

I believe they are owned by GECAS and are being leased to a cargo carrier who will be contracting them to deliver overnight packages for the USPS. I will find out more when I am back to my home office Wednesday and post it.
