UAL pilots, represented by ALPA, have agreed to accept the management proposal for $2.2 billion in pay cuts over 5 years. This proposal was part of United's Economic Recovery Plan which requires a total of $5.8 billion in concessions from various employee groups. The two other major unions at UAL are AFA representing Flight Attendants and the IAM representing mechanics, rampers and airport agents.
