I have a question, I know that the only 747 with LCD screens is the 744ER, but when looking at this picture of the cockpit of a 744F of Cargolux It seems that this aircraft also has LCD screens.
Does anyone knows why, or am I wrong and this are just only CRT´s screens?

The Cargolux plane has the CRT brightness turned down on most of the displays.........Anyway, Boeing LCD displays have a small lever and locking screw at the bottom of the screens, which the Cargolux plane doesn't have.

This plane is built to withstand anything... except a bad pilot.

After a second look on the KLM picture, The LX plane might be LCD's. They are definitely different from the 777,764 and 73NG displays.

Checking the reg. I noticed that this plane is the newest in Cargolux fleet, it was delivered in august/02, so maybe Boeing is installing this kind of screens on the new 744.

My thoughts exactly. I was just about to say that maybe Boeing is making this primary on all new 747s
