What the hell are the people at the China Air Show doing this year ??. It starts tomorrow and there is still no confirmed details about the show and no TV adverts like for the past years. Their website says a list of aircraft will be posted in JULY !!, I've sent e-mails to them which have not been answered.

Anyway today I heard these three aircraft going into no Zhuhai:

N132JC = Galaxy
AHW2137 = ??
WKH2761 = ??

Anyone got the ID of these other two aircraft or info on whats at the show ??

Hkgspotter1,

Not sure about Boeing, but Airbus has joined the Zhuhai Airshow 2002.

Here are some latest information from Airbus (China) public relations officer:

Airbus has joined China's largest ever airshow in Zhuhai from Nov 4 to Nov 7, 2002. On Nov 4, Airbus (China) held a press conference and the corp's management had talked about the current development process of new Airbus A380 and the co-operation between Airbus and China in A380 project. Meanwhile, other recent company moves had also been introduced to media (heard from my friend who was there, mainly Chinese media organizations).

In Zhuhai Airshow 2002, Airbus has brought scaled 1:20 models of A380, A330 and A319. In addition, Airbus has also prepared many video programs about the corp and its newest products and Airbus holds a special VIP room in this airshow.

China United is nice, but there's probably not too much of interest.

Well, it seems that China United Airlines is no longer serving the civil transportation market in China. The future of its aircrafts has not been decided at the moment.

The above information has not been officially confirmed, but I had been told by some people about this change.
