I had to drop someone off at MCO this morning and I thought I might have seen an AA 777 parked at a terminal.

I was going really fast and just caught a glimpse of this plane. Definitely an AA jet, but does anyone know if it was a 777? I saw it around 7:30-7:45am.

i wasn't up that early this morning but AA sometimes brings in their 777s, possibly as an equipment change or perhaps they're already boosting capacity for the holiday seasons. It is always a pleasant surprise to see their 777s fly final past my living room window every now and then.

AA almost always has a spare 777 sitting at MIA in between trips to deep South America, and they frequently substitute for A300s on flights to BOS, JFK, SDQ, and MCO. My guess was it was subbing for an MIA flight.

Flight 404 from Miami was an A300, it arrived around 7:45am. This is most likely what you saw.

Speaking of all of this.

What kinds of aircraft upgrades do you see at MCO over the winter and holidays?

Does DL fly more 777s?

What about Continental? Do they start bringing in the 762, 764 and 772s

United?

AA?

NW?

Flyguy1-

Yeah, that's probably what it was because it wasn't too big and I'm sure a 777 would REALLY stand out.

I know an AA A300 flies into MCO around 11:30 from SJU. I seen it when I was down there visiting last June.
