Can someone please supply me with the plane registrations of the Jumbos involved in the 1) The Bangkok runway incident and the one in Rome that the nose wheel collapsed whilst taxing.

Also any other info regarding the regos or incidents of the 744 of the QF fleet

Qantas's 747-400 fleet is registered in the VH-OJx series, A through to U, with the exception of the three ex-MH GE powered aircraft, which are VH-OEB, -OEC and -OED, while 747-400ERs willl be VH-OEE, -OEF, -OEG, -OEH, -OEI and -OEJ

Harvey
The incident in Rome did not involve the nose wheel it was the outer starboard main gear.

ZK-NBT - do you know which 742 it was? -EBQ had engine problems in Perth earlier on last week, and no one on the YSSY board has been able to answer the question of whether it was a repetition on QF44, or whether -EBS was having a gremlin attack too...

ZK-NBT - Sydney is great (except it has been yonks since I have been able to go and do some spotting - not having a car is a bit of a hinderance). I will be back in Auckland on TG992 on the 8th of December, all going to plan.

EBQ should be arriving in Sydney this evening (9th November) as QF580 from PER, as its last revenue flight. It will then be ferried to the Qantas Founders Outback Museum at Longreach next Saturday, 16th November, for preservation. I am heading up to see it (I am taking the charter on VH-VXB, 737-800 Yananyi Dreamng), should be a fun weekend.

ZK - Um, yes, I guess I do! Silly me!

Looks like EBQ is not going to go without a fight...
