MD90-30ER-yes it did exist-I think an Egyptian airline was the only customer.

Regarding DC8-62 and -72...
No current numbers, but probably majority of 62s are cargo aircraft nowadays, could be maybe some few left as passenger planes. A friend of mine, pilot, dealt with a Middle East millionaire (?) about flying his -62, a few month ago...
I believe there were only 3 (or 4) -72s, one is French Air Force (maybe two) and flies the French president... one I knew about (but not recently seen or heard about) is a corporate aircraft (Aramco?) frequently flying between Houston and Saudi Arabia...

I know of a DC9-14 private aircraft, N13FE based VNY in USA... has nice interior, belongs to a Hollywood producer...
