MD-11 With Turquoise Belly-- Whose?

This morning around 1000 PST an MD11 flew over Oakland NNWbound at maybe FL350, presumably out of LAX bound for the Orient. The bottom of the fuselage was uniform turquoise color. I took a quick look at the VARIG MD11s in the picture collection and didn't find it there-- so whose was it?

Are you sure it was turquoise and not maybe grey, silver, or some other color? I mean if you saw it at cruising altitude, the plane had to be pretty high up. So unless you looked at it through powerful binoculars or a telescope-especially in the morning-where the light can play tricks on your eyes-where you probably couldn't get a good look at it-it may not have been that color at all.

No, we could speculate about what shade of greenish-blue it was, but it was plainly not grey or silver. Is VASP still in business?

No need to get defensive. I'm simply asking. Because I am racking my brain to think about what MD-11 would be painted in the colors in question.

I think it was a Korean Air Cargo MD-11 heading back to South Korea.

Does Korean have any special-paint MD-11s? It certainly wasn't their usual white belly.

but it was at FL350, no way a plane could be at 35,000 and be going to sfo.
