Two days ago a german television station (Pro7.de) aired a short report on the American Airlines flight 587 crash last November. Basically they said nothing new.
What was interesting is the fact that they showed a picture of a Swissair A330 with its vertical stabilizer missing saying that Swissair had some problems with the attachments and had Airbus repair all aircraft by installing an extra 2000 rivets on each.
Would anybody like to share some details? Haven't found anything on these forums or on the Internet.

I remember that SR had to take all it's A330 out of service for checks at the stabilizer. That must be about two years ago, long before the AA crash. I don't remember when exactly, but it was at a Friday/Saturday. They were chartering aircrafts from other carriers to keep their schedule up.
But this affected all A330-operators, not only SR.
