Usually used on LHR and FRA via SIN or BKK, also been to AKL, EZE, JO'BURG.
More aswell I guess, EZE is no longer served. This is along with all the Australian ports SYD, MEL mainly though.

Wunala is almost NEVER seen doing the Pacific routes as its an atlantic machine. Mainly used on the Kangaroo Route (SYD-SIN-LHR/FRA, SYD-BKK-LHR) and sometimes to Asia like to Hong Kong.

Sorry Bigo747 and I were off topic we were talking about Nalanji! QF43 departs SYD at 1135!

Wunala may have been going to HKG then.

So, the airports which Wunala visits very often are: SYD, MEL, SIN, BKK, LHR, FRA and HKG.

Correct - BUT, it is one of the aircraft scheduled to be converted to two-class, and so will operate on the AKL-LAX route, as well as to CDG and FCO. Not sure about FRA.

This is a little off-topic but does anybody have any information on what the scheduling of the planes to FRA looks like? I have seen all the special livery 747's there and they divide up between the 747-400 and the 747-300. So is there any regularity on which type of 747 is sent there or does it just depend on the moments situation and availability of aircraft in Austrailia?

I think the flights to FRA are now operated only by B747-400.

Has QF cancelled their flights from BNE and CNS via SIN to FRA?

As for FRA, we only get the 744, but Wunala was not pretty often here, mostly LHR...

I doubt very much that Qantas would convert Wunula to 2 class configuartion. It is considered to be the "flagship" of the 744 fleet.

Seems like a few folks here are getting confused between "Wunala" (B747-400) and "Nalanji" (B747-300). Nalanji is being configured to 2-class config, which will see it primarily on Asian routes (Japan) and Southy Pacific. Wunala (also due for a repaint soon) will retain it's "Kangaroo" config as opposed to the Trans Pacific configuration.

Oz777 - As Nalanji is a 747-300, it is already in 2 class configuration. I definitely recall reading somewhere that Wunala would be converted to 2 class configuration,a nd it came from a credible source (or so I thought at the time)

I second what VirginFlyer had to say. I too did some reading on the reconfiguration of OJB. With that said, LAX will start to see her soon!

I heard that VH-OJA through VH-OJJ which is 10 aircraft would be converted to 2 class!

I certainly hope that Wunala will keep her colours surely she will.

Nalanji has been 2 class for I don't no how long 10 years maybe.

Yes, OJA-OJJ will be 2 class... they're doing the 2 class 744 routes.... OJB's colour has faded somebits.

VH-OJB is DEFINITELY one of the aircraft to be converted to two class next year. This is to enable it to visit more ports - LAX (via the flight from AKL), CDG (which will become two-class if it isn't already), etc.
