Whilst surfing the net today and trying to find out a bit more about Chukotavia, I came across these photos which were taken at Anadyr Airport, of a heap of wrecks which just sit there, including Il-14, Il-76, Mi-8s, An-12s, Su-15s. I have also been told there are An-2s and An-24s wrecked at the airport.

Does anyone have any info on these wrecks? The Il-76 was a crash (pilot was drunk)... http://aviation-safety.net/database/1997/970125-1.htm

I remember plenty of Il18s at Sheremetyevo (as far as I remember) airport in early 90's, many without engines, some sitting on their tales... some Il62s joined them later...
