I have some questions to ask:

1)Do airlines make a lot of profit from each passengers?
2)How much is the cost to operate a normal flight?

Thanks for your answer.

Some airlines profit, some dont.

Magazines called Australian Aviation and another called Airways quite often do airline profiles which show operating cost and profit of the whole company.
Both of these magazines would be available in HK.
