Who was the operator of the 742 flight?

Firings, if well done, are good for employee morale.

Err, yeah, I guess the NWA prefix on the flight number would sort of give it away...lol.

What kind of sportsclub are the Eagles that they can afford to charter a Jumbo-Jet?
I only know the Pop-group with that name and, frankly, US sports are not a big issue here in Europe.

i believe its this thing that NWA has with all the teams they charter for, that the team can get a 742 upgrade once a year, i believe to bring their family and friends to the game.

That is unusual for a team to charter a plane that large. Usually, they charter 757's, even for cross country flights.

the 49ers used a UA 744 for their game against the Saints in New Orleans earlier this season. What a sight!

Anyone know what the status of the 742 is now...whens it leaving PHL and where to?...is it a pax flight??? If NW rotates the aircraft back onto a repo flight and they sell seats...considering the Eagles usually use a DC-10 I think or something like that...it would be fascinating to get on it...even though theres nothing special lol...I just totally contradicted myself...

EAGLES!!!!

1) They deserve it after the sound thrashing they gave the Niners'.
2) Detmer's injury did not look cool.
3) Speaking of 49'ers and their 744 into MSY, anybody else around here remember their "49er Liner" DC-10?

As you can see the plane wasn't on the ground in PHL for very long. They probably want to make more money off of it as soon as possible. Unfortunately i didn't get to see this NWA 742, but i was able to get pictures of a NWA 742 and ATA L-1011 when they flew into PHL a couple weeks ago.

Thats nothing, what about GREEN BAY! They flew a UAL 744 SFO-GRB last year during the playoffs... The plane went to ORD, then flew back to GRB and onto SFO.

A couple years ago, the Raiders flew a NW 747 OAK-GRB GRB-OAK.

I know NWA, and maybe UAL, allow teams to upgrade once a year, as said by a few of us earlier in the thread.
