hi,

only irregular thing i found today about arrivals/departures at AMS is that KL 644 from JFK is cancelled.

RWY 01L: i assume a take-off... possible tail-strike??

Not sure klm-md11

I got a phone call from a friend that was approaching the Schiphol Tunnel when it happened.

Tail Strike sounds like it but not sure.

Re:KL644
KL643 to JFK of 4-12 was also cancelled, so this KL644 has nothing to do with this.

Maybe it was a fire in the APU.

If there was firetraining going on, someone driving on the A-4 might mistake the flames of that for a burning aircraft on or just over the bridge due to the positioning of the firetrainer.
